Paris Fashion Week officially commenced on January 21st, and Pharrell Williams' Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2025/2026 collection kicked off this exceptional week for fashion and culture at the Louvre Museum in the City of Love. Williams assumed the role of Men’s Creative Director at Louis Vuitton in June 2023, becoming the first musician to hold this title. Since then, he has curated top-of-the-line pieces for the brand, ultimately rebranding LV for the better in the process.
The fashion show was packed, with celebrities from all backgrounds stepping out for the night, including Travis Scott, Bradley Cooper, Idris Elba, Future, Adrien Brody, Pusha T, and Callum Turner.
As someone who naturally gravitates towards autumn and winter fashion over spring and summer, I was particularly excited about this lineup. I also find men’s runway fashion intriguing, as it obviously differs from women’s fashion in stylistic and creative choices, but is similarly influenced by various muses, themes, cultures, and sources of inspiration.
Williams collaborated with his longtime friend and artistic partner, Nigo, on the collection, incorporating Japanese and cultural elements into each LV piece. Together, the pair co-founded the streetwear brand Billionaire Boys Club and ICECREAM in 2003 and have remained close friends for decades. Nigo is extremely well-respected in the streetwear fashion community and was a complementary addition to the creative process of this collection.
The collection itself was vast in colors, materials, structures, patterns, and occasions. However, recurring themes I noticed included shades of brown, embroidered embellishments, camouflage, and animal prints.
Overall, I really enjoyed the entire showcase as well as the artistic choices for the presentation of the pieces, such as the location, runway, and dress code. Pharrell Williams is truly one of the greatest multi-talented individuals working today, continuously emulating true icon status in modern society.
